What is it with bands releasing new singles and unnecessarily making the vocals sound worse these days?

Pretty good album but I find the singer's voice a little annoying

My favourite album of all time. Always has been, always will be.

This album was pretty underwhelming honestly. I mean it was fine but most of the songs just feel uninspired and kinda boring. And considering how great and their last album was, this is just a huge step down for them which sucks cause I know they can do much better.
There are some great songs on here like Caught In The Echo, but otherwise this is nothing special

Gosh what even happened here? Those vocals are headache inducing
