I think that it was incredible, however i didn't like the fact that some tracks were there to fill while it was a 36 minute long album.Maybe it could make a perfect EP without them.
After listening to it for the first time , here are my impressions. It was a very good album although my expectations were higher due to listening to the Arctic Monkeys' song before the LP release. From the 23 tracks I saved 10 of them and I am pretty sure that I am going to add more after listening to it again. It felt to me like some of the tracks were consciously building up a rising dynimic throughout the whole songs that never "gave in".That is something that i personally ... read more
Started super good but ended up a bit boring .They remind you a lot of Black Country, New Road.
Definitely onte of the best albums of 2026 so far.It was a bit short as an album as well as some tracks of it too. However, their sound is truly good with some distinctive sounds. It creates a temptation to listen to it again and i believe that I am going to fall in this "trap" multiple times this year. Really Good LP (With A Beautiful Album Cover).
What the fuck is this? Why are the songs so short.Am I listening to music or TV series' intros? It's a shame since the songs are very catchy and they(Joyce Manor) seem to know how to write nice music, but I can't treat this as an album.Even if I treat it as an EP ,again, the songs are 2 minutes long with uninteresting outros.
It would propably be higher if I was a listener of this kind of music. It was too brutal and harmonically stable for my tastes, athough there were some tiny melodic parts and a well produced sound that i liked.
Its drums are interesting and that is why i saved some tracks. Its surely a good album , however it either matches your vibe or it doesn't. It didn't match mine
Sunshine Felt The Darkness Smile will be one of my favourite songs of 2025
