Cheat Codes is Black Thought proving once again that he is an incredible rapper and one of the best in the game. Everything on this album is brilliant from the flows, lyrics and production. It is such a joy to listen to Black Thought destroy these beats so effortlessly, it sounds like his bread and butter at this point. The production on this album is beautiful, I love the samples used and the old school boom bap style is done to perfection. Songs such as Because have such elegant beats which Black Thought just murders with ease. The production does remind me a bit of Madvilliany but that isn't a problem at all because everyone loves that album. Black Thought as a rapper on here is just a joy like I said. When are we gonna talk about him being in contention for one of the greats already? He is so good on every album and this is just another example of that. The lyrics on this album are perfection, nothing to complain about here it is great. The features are all brilliant and match to the level of Black Thought.
