I was surprised to see how good this listen was. A great first album by Osita and I am looking forward to hearing more music from this man.
The charm, chemistry, punchy jazz production and the chemistry of A Tribe Called Quest continues on here in peak form, clever lyrics and one liners are here as well to provide a very memorable experience.
Nothing redeemable or noteworthy, or a standout performance.
I actually fell asleep on the last 2 songs of the album.
A pretty good debut the start of a discography. Amazing chemistry, amazing chemistry throughout this album but the second half kind of dips a bit in terms of quality in my opinion, still a pretty good first album
Yes, they can kick it!
Basically what I was expected, but I still really liked this album.
This was good but there are some duds throughout the tracklist. The best songs are peak though.
I randomly came across this tape on YouTube and HOLY SHIT, I was not waiting for this to be this good. Chris Rivera might be top 25 Charles, it’s only 6 songs but, back to back bangers regardless.
The project started kind of rough but I as the tracks went on I loved this project more and more. I have never seen this mentioned while looking around the projects of Charles Hamilton. This is amazing.
I loved the album on my first listen, it’s far from his best album though which I had no belief of it being his best album anyways. It was a great, fun time and I walked away from it being satisfied with what I heard.
The features were disappointing and that’s my main issue with this album, other than that it was a fun listen regardless.
