Slow, warm, and beautiful acoustic guitar.
A uniquely rock-rooted take on early 2000s folk is accompanied by soft vocals that lull you into a dream, like fading in and out of consciousness on a long road trip for miles on end. While consistently atmospheric, this LP is only held back by a few tracks that just can't shine as much as its strongest moments--"Somewhere," "Duk Koo Kim," "Carry Me Ohio."
Overall, a compelling and immersive listen.
