DOOM LOOP

I have to say that I have actually quite enjoyed PRESIDENT, and what they have put out so far. I have no idea whether they’re an industry plant or not, and to be completely honest, I don’t really care. I just want to listen to good music. Record labels will always find ways to earn money, and if that is to back a band heavily without really disclosing it, then so be it.

Although their first EP wasn’t anything special, it was a pleasant experience. But I still felt it was a bit to «cheesy» for my taste. Thankfully I’m glad to find that the last three singles have been quite strong, with this last single being their absolute strongest song. This is a lot better than their prior tracks. They’ve managed to find a more distinct direction, and it’s actually very exciting.

If they continue this sound, the album might become one of this years biggest surprises. It might actually be the start of something promising.
