An inconsistent album from someone who will happily play in Saudi Arabia, meh.
If I Can't Have Albums, I Want Saudi Arabian Money would be suchhhh a better title!
Decent job! A six minute Mariah Carey song was a very huge surprise to me (it's rlly good too)!
It does not suprise me this era is commerically underperforming compared to Nowhere Generation.
With the single now out in New Zealand and Australia, I was able to listen to this early. It is, by far, the best of the three singles. While I really liked End of Summer, and to a lesser extent Loser, this eclipses both of them.
Word for word what PieceOfMulch said.
Songs could be longer, lyrics need work.
My personal opinion? Take these 3 songs and remaster them for later if you're down for that.
Love the three tracks!
1 - Can't Stop the High
2 - The Dead Dance
3 - Kill For Love
Very close ranking im ngl
This is leagues above anything from, What's It Gonna Take?
It always impresses me when an older artist tries to make newer music and succeedes, very hard to come by, especially one so diverse like this album. Sure, the album cover really isn't that impressive, but I found a lot of pleasure listening to this album for the first time, probably the best I've heard from him in years!
