maybe its hard to top the expectations after the last year’s “short and sweet”, but she didn’t even need to do that. it’s such a pleasant record, with the unified theme and consistency. maybe not as exciting and adventurous, but still a good record with some potential here.

it really connected to me in some way. i felt she’s doing it only basing on her true instincts and self-consciousness, especially on more low-tempo tracks. she’s showing her true self, even though it might be over the top and sometimes unnecessary.
