My review: this project pretty accurately reflects what coming home for the holidays feels like in my brain.
My dad's review: "what the hell is that noise?"

I feel so lucky to have discovered Sierra Ferrell’s music over the last few months. This album is peak Americana, making me feel nostalgic for a life I never lived. Sierra’s voice is captivating and just oozes emotion, fitting perfectly with some classic folk-band instrumentation that you could easily imagine being played live in some back-country bar decades ago. Taylor shows some real vulnerability in the lyrics of these tracks, which Aaron’s acoustic production style really matches. These songs will 100% be the ones I’m adding to my playlists and revisiting in the future.
