i dont like this. genuinely didnt know any song beforehand, not even purple rain; that's probably my fault tho. mixing sounds dull, empty, not grandiose (as some of these songs should sound imo) or huge. im so disappointed, i wanted to like this so much. im sorry, maybe its because im 21 and im DONE with the 80s, but this is so average. dude had a lot of talent, could produce and do everything himself, okay i get it; what about the music? is it appealing? do i like it? FUCK no. rip tho.
ghosts is his best song of all time aint no way wtf
this is how stateside was supposed to sound like in the first place. the original song was a 10 already, and i didn't think it could get any better, but pinkpantheress somehow found a way. the production on the 2025 version was great, but this is top notch; creativity is off the charts.

this is so fun. some gabriela fans gotta realize that a sole billboard pop song is not their entire core!!! this song is literally the style of music they blew up with, fun pop music with a lot going on with the production; if anything they're being true to themselves. best song theyve released in months fr, these girls cant do shit without someone being on their meat lmaooooo like hop off.
