Magnet is a fantastic closer, but I wish that Now, Now would've played into their strengths a bit more on this record
Threads is a solid little album, with decent instrumentation and especially amazing vocals. And within these 12 tracks, there are most definitely numerous highlights, such as the closer, Magnet, or the track Dead Oaks. It's solid, don't get me wrong, but I struggle to find anything that truly sets it apart from the vast array of similar releases in the genre. It's a good listen, but it lacks that special spark to really make it stand out.
