Kendrick Lamar - euphoria
NR

Kendrick seriously came in with 3 switches in the cut like he stated on Like That. Although like with Drake, some of the punches don't reflect the reality and just for entertainment, Kendrick really layered and jabbed hard at Drake's character. Even if some of the information we already knew. The point is, he delivered and dropped a few funny bars even if some of the intent was questionable. Isn't the supposed disses not uphold any moral standard, unless proven otherwise. Maybe it's just me not ... read more

Drake - Push Ups
NR

This is the type of Drake I really like to hear. Aside from the beef him and Kendrick have. His rapping performance, his flow and delivery was very good here. I don't see why he wouldn't consistently deliver these type of tracks or at least this effort onto his albums. Well I realized too that he's more into creating his albums as playlist like/centered, compared to a conceptual album that generally most Hip Hop fans love and listen to most of the music in depth. Although that's not always ... read more

Ariana Grande - eternal sunshine
NR

This project I liked a lot more than her last project. Personally because I like a more pop-pier soundscape than R&B from Ari although she's a good singer. The R&B production just doesn't click with me with her vocals. Although it's not her best piece of work, it's still very good and I'm glad she's able to enjoy creating music again. True Story is also one of her best songs she's ever made for me from the song structure to her vocal presence

Beyoncé - COWBOY CARTER
NR

I enjoyed this album. It was too long and some songs I just genuinely don't care for. Not bad tracks, just filler tbh. Which I can't fully blame because some albums just add filler for the casual listener. Other than that, I liked the musicality of this. Beyonce vocals was so vibrant on songs like Bodyguard and Tyrant. Even the first track gave me chills. Cut off some tracks and unneeded interludes and this would've been one of the most cohesive Beyonce albums I've heard in a while

After a few more listens through the past few months, this is Ye's worst album ever. His step down from production, although some bright here and there highlights of late registration days, his rapping performances completely deteriorated each and every song. He was just saying anything and I cannot really blame him for it fully. Mostly because in a general retrospect, his artistry took a nosedive, which was very apparent even post TLOP, although I loved KSG and liked some of his 2018 work, it ... read more

Taylor Swift - THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT: THE ANTHOLOGY
NR

Her music is really not for me atp. It was hard to listen to throughout because the production was disengaging and boring to me. Her writing was a step down from even the last album, and her mic presence in terms of delivery was not doing it for me. A few stand out tracks but they aren't gonna be enough for me to go back to consistently
