I had a really hard time piecing my feelings about this album (which is absolutely not the right word to describe this) together as I listened to it. This is probably the most I'm going to have to say about a Bull of Heaven release for a while, given the stretch of albums from 006-018 seem incredibly daunting, and not in a positive way.

the most engaging bull of heaven release yet, i find each of its 3 distinct segments enjoyable, the third being my favorite.
i would say this album feels like buried alive, which i know is a description that can probably be slapped onto most dark ambient pieces but this really feels like struggling to keep the dirt and grime from filling the back of your throat, especially the first and third segments, which might be intentional, given the name but it's impossible to tell what these guys ... read more
