even if its sonically a little uneven in some corners, this is one of Kendrick‘s most emotionally devastating records and there is nothing else like it on this planet.
many songs here suffer from repetition and predictability, which is why it doesnt reach nearly the same heights as My Agenda. the lack of features exacerbates this problem.
despite that, so many of the beats hit hard and so many of the hooks stick in my brain that i will want to return to this record again and again.
one of the most unsettling pieces of music i think ive ever heard.
