Its alright; pretty solid, just feels super generic and watered down alt rock with noting really unique to bring to the table. A lot of the emotional and romance oriented theming of the album are pretty fucked over by sed generic tone, and some really weird/gross ass lyrics. If I Get High has a nice vibe and a bit more emotion but still lacks some real depth in the composition to complement the emotions they are trying to evoke. The drums feel robotic and tacky as fuck and annoyed me a lot. ... read more
Here before this band blows up, my god everything about this song is so fun and exhilarating. The ending is fire as fuck. I heavily recommend this.
Quick and infectiously fun math rock EP. Cheating the NASA Space Physical makes me happy every time it comes on in my playlist.
Absolutely phenomenal for a live recording. Its a crime; pun not intended, that this song hasn't been released, but maybe on Year of The Newt we will get a full mastered version.
Very colorful and fun Math rock album. Some parts kinda feel like a drag and I'm not completely feeling the vocals. I/O Polarity Interrupt is fire though.
I really badly wanna like this Album because Breathe and Glare are absolutely AMAZING songs with great music videos. However, my fucking god the rest of the album is so mind numbingly boring and is such a far cry from Breathe and Glare. I feel horrible shitting on the album but the only 2 good songs are the 2 first ones and it was probably put in the front intentionally to cover up the rest of the track list. Its the album equivalent of putting frosting on a turd. If you have not listened to ... read more
Best EP of all time; don't argue it's true, and if you don't think so then you are tripping balls or you need to unclog your ear holes.
I will die on this hill saying that this album is perfect and an underrated masterpiece. There is so much emotion, texture, and color blooming through every second of each song. The overall topic of death and other heavy topics will put some people off of this album to others in TTNG's catalog, but I personally love the shift TTNG took and it feels a lot more emotionally mature in comparison to anything else in their discography. The clever metaphors and word play give you so much for you to ... read more
