Better than the debut mixtape in my opinion. I’m glad he’s using more of his artistry skills in this. One of my main issues with the debut is that it was really good rapping, but not much else other than that. The production was basic, flow was repetitive, and there wasn’t really anything else going on other than that.
However, this mixtape definitely was like that too, just in a smaller amount. This is a very bloated tracklist, with some exceptions of great storytelling, catchy hooks, and innovative sampling. Because of this, I found this mixtape way more memorable than his debut.
Not much else to say, just a good improvement. It’s clear the talent is there, and I can’t wait for him to capitalise on it.
