drake draked well on this. think it’s his best album since iyrtitl. most people who dislike this album just dislike drake in general. listening to drake and then not liking when drake is drake, at a certain point it’s like what do you want from the guy? the beef ruined discourse around him and kendrick
that’s my floor and image are mid compared to the rest (idk they just feel more derivative / unexciting than the others) but I do enjoy this album a lot. like or love pretty much every other song.
so be it was a damn near perfect song. it set the bar too high. pusha and malice still got it but these pharrell beats feel mostly empty to me
edit: this album is like a 6.5 to me but I'm giving it a 0 to counteract this horrendous user score
another classic, better than damn and mr morale
edit: not as good as I thought on first listen but still very good
after 3 listens I can confidently say this is behind only igor in tyler’s discography. and some of tyler’s best songs ever are present on this album. like him is arguably his greatest song.
it's kinda subpar for tyler. still have high expectations for the album though
means a lot to me, one of the best, most creative mixtapes of all time. I wish everyone knew about this
