So much promise in such a short record.
Really can’t wait for this group to release an LP.
This is a beautifully produced album, and Delaney's vocal are remarkable.
There are a few tracks that stand out to me in particular, and there are a number of tracks that are just okay.
Best Album of 2026 thus far!
Not a bad record, starts off strong with pendulum swing then falls off pretty quickly
The reception to Testing 100% held Rocky back from allowing this record to have a distinct identity.
This album is an unfortunate return to the basics for an otherwise adventurous artist. While this doesn't make for a bad work, listeners have to reckon with the fact they waited nearly 8 years for a fairly standard trap album.
Listening to this will have you wishing you didn’t
Seriously though, what happened to sickboyrari, seems like almost everything that made his early works enjoyable has been sucked out of his music
“Hey siri can you just say some bullshit over an instrumental for me. Thanks.”
First time listening through a whole Zach Bryan record, it is definitely a little redundant, could've done with being much shorter.
With that being said, this isn't a bad record, and a few of the songs were particularly enjoyable
Alex G's Trick seemingly attempts to tackle it all, substance abuse, loss, abandonment, and everything in between.
I think I can certainly appreciate many of the songs that come off this record, while others feel very out of place.
Altogether this is a defining record in Alex G's illustrious discography
Nothing short of spectacular.
Revisiting this nearly six years later this record has the make of a timeless classic. From start to finish Freddie and the Alchemist deliver on the expectations one would have for a collaboration between the two histories artists.
