i really want to like this and i acknowledge that it’s no easy feat writing an entire album (or two) entirely in your non-native language, but the genuinely abhorrent grammar rendered this whole album unlistenable to me.
as a fan, riize’s most recent release is disappointing and indicative of a decline i would not have expected to see just a year ago.

i have this on loop but i think the mixed reactions to this track are a manifestation of a broader shift within the genre where we start to think about what constitutes a “kpop” track/song. i find it so odd that there are growing debates on some arbitrary measure of “quintessential kpop-ness”
