The debut album by producer, singer, and songwriter, Levi Malachi, showcases Levi's ability to produce and write amazing songs despite having no experience playing any instrument, little experience producing music, and little experience writing songs. All of this considered, this is an absolutely stellar project for Levi and he should be proud of what he has made. Levi's lyrics translate as heart-felt and genuine. You can hear the pain in his voice when he sings, especially on tracks such as, ... read more
While I don't think this Kanye's best work and despite the fact that I have not listened to any Kid Cudi yet, I still think this absolutely fantastic. Every song is psychedelic, fun, multi-faceted and just over all amazing. I can't pick a single verse I dislike, the production is off the wall crazy, and the chemistry between Cudi and Ye is unmatched. Cudi's gorgeous harmonies paired with the insane production all over this make it feel full and wide like I'm looking into the deepest chasms of ... read more
Fleet Foxes self-titled is one of my favourite albums ever so coming into this I knew that it would be a difficult a task to best it. Even though Coldplay does wear their influences on their sleeves a bit I don't think it gets in the way of the listening experience. This album feels like a road trip and I don't know why. I feel incredibly safe ... read more
There's A LOT of talent here that feels like it isn't being fully pushed to what Phoebe is capable of. That being said though, the writing, production, singing and mixing all over this album is still top-notch. Although she definitely bested herself and pushed her abilities to the max on Punisher, this is still a great album. I love almost every song and I think that the feeling Phoebe presents of feeling distant and emotionless (like a ghost) translates very well over every song. The sound of ... read more
