Just saw Doechii's Tiny Desk and knew that I HAD to check out her latest mixtape.
The flow is there, the attitude is there, the beats are there. It's all there, and you know what, Doechii is only gonna get better!
Hella catchy LP with all his hits from the past year represented here. 'showtime!' and 'tricky!' are both bangers but back to back on the album? Nahhh, these needed to be separated out a bit!
I like it. BUT I would love to see something a little different from Hadji going forward, or at least mix things up a little - as this LP feels a little 'one-trick-y!' (see what I did there?). Love u Hadji
Been a fan of Wallice for years, dating back to her "Hey Michael" days that still gets plenty of airtime with me.
Over the years, she has fine-tuned her style and sound, with drops of experimentation, but always relies on the catchy, bedroom pop/punk, angsty, fun, sound that I find so charming.
