Kind of repetitive but also quite smooth and relaxing. Good background music.

This album may not be very exciting or thrilling, but it doesn't need to be. I found it to be quite enjoyable from the first song till the last. It's very nice to be used as background music for in the living room.

In Rainbows is pure genius, both musically and lyrically. Its central theme is longing: wanting something you can’t have. I’ve felt that more times than I’d like to admit, like being consumed by the thought of someone you want but know you’ll never have, because fear keeps you silent.

Lyrically, it feels like she’s trying to be like Sabrina Carpenter on this album (which, honestly, isn’t a great move to begin with). But even that falls flat, and what we get instead are these painfully cringy, teenage-style sexual references that had my mouth muscles clenching in second hand embarrassment more times than I’d like to admit.

It’s our differences that make us beautiful.
While the lyrics may lean toward simplicity at times, the messages of hope are genuinely moving and deeply needed in these dark, polarised times. We’re so often pulled apart by division that we forget the power of unity, of love, and most importantly: hope.
