Following the Sick EP, I feel this album is slightly overrated to being called the "perfect album" by many of Beartooth's followers. The album has catchy choruses and a mix of heavy/non-heavy songs. I'd put a majority of the songs at around 75-90 (standouts to me: The Lines, Beaten in Lips, Dead, I Have A Problem which I know was on the Sick EP but has a slightly neutered bass compared to the EP).
Everyone should go listen to the remixed/remastered version as I found it was better than the OG. I found the album enjoyable and completely underrated as I saw many people put this at the bottom of their tier lists. Some of the criticism is fair as some of the songs have similar intros (Find A Way, Censored, Fair Weather Friend) but to me it doesn't take away from the tracks themselves. Album is banger after banger after banger after banger. The two tracks that stick out the hardest are I Have a Problem and Set Me on Fire. I'm very surprised at how low-rated this album by other tbh but it's seriously in the same league as AFI's All Hallows EP which is near-perfect as well.
I think people are going too hard on this album because if you go through his discography, you'll come across his first release which was Chloe Burbanks. Most songs are at ~2 mins to ~3 Minute mark and people may say it was an incomplete project but it contained many classics and his next release In Tongues barely cracked 3 Minutes.
