Being able to make an album where most the songs feel like 30 seconds and yet the whole album feels like 2 and a half hours really is impressive.
Just fun though there were definitely better features they could have gotten than Slaughter to Prevail on such an album. Song 3 isn't even that bad but it would have been leagues better without Alex Terrible
It might be incredibly generic, but it also isn't bad
Production is better than most Kendrick albums don't listen to the people hating
The people complaining about pop chorus and "overproduction" seem like really infuriating people. I don't think they've heard a rap album in the last 15 years not by one of their beloved favourites from when they were 12. It's not overproduced it's just that production has evolved since 2007. Overall the album isn't half bad though it does seem like a cop out to put a single from 2023 on the record.
It's a toss-up between this or Magic, Alive for best production of the year
I think my main issue with DOOM is that the songs are too short for me to get into them especially on this, MM..FOOD and Madvillainy
Better than Mural made me cry and laugh and dance and I won the lottery
