Grew on me quite a bit. Sounds dark and grimy asf

I'll likely change my rating as time goes on, given how long and dense this work is. As of right now, I enjoy the entirety of it, especially the Kyrie, however most pieces blend together in my mind and I find it difficult to remember individual parts. That being said, I feel like it gets overshadowed by the following albums and is slightly overlooked. its an absolutely massive step up from Orchid and Morningrise and I honestly prefer it over some of their later death metal output such as Deliverance and Watershed. The story here adds a lot and is ... read more
