There are few if any albums that make me feel the way this one does. Summed up in a word, it’s bliss. If I ever end up playing a song from the album, accidentally or not, I almost always end up just sitting through and playing the rest of the album. I still can't believe this album is real and I get to listen to it. What a privilege it is to have ears.
Keeps continuously getting better with time. So pristine in its production and mixing that it's borderline addictive. I've never stopped listening to this and I will never stop listening to this. (Also, Cry for Me is one of the greatest pop songs of all time) (Also also, the final three tracks of the album is one of the greatest three track runs of all time)
Pretty great and probably my favorite album of his up to this point.
The beats are really great to me, but man at a certain point that combination of the same flow with his vocals slightly pitched up and bad mixing to where it's hard to make out what he's saying half the time is kinda annoying. Even just going back a few years ago, while Scaring the Hoes had its criticisms in regards to the mixing as well, I think even that album had his vocals mixed better than whatever is going on here, not to mention the fact that his flows were a lot more varied ... read more
Even if part of me wishes it was a bit longer and varied, there’s a good deal to appreciate about this album. It’s of course very serene, but also has a lot of great textures and layers that really sound great in a good pair of headphones. I don’t think it’s doing anything mind blowing, but it’s a good showing that I think he could build upon really nicely.
