Empty Hands

Well this hurts to say but I kind of expected it from the very first single unravel was just super basic especially with the production and formula. While it’s still an enjoyable song simper to this album it just doesn’t do anything that negative spaces was able to do. This album feels rushed and it forgets the best elements of negative spaces like the experimental elements and also just the band in general is forgotten here. Every song pretty much has the same guitar riff the production gets boring very quick it’s standard and just very radio friendly production.

It does nothing special. While there’s no bad songs on here there’s still no songs that really do much to move the needle either. Best songs being, bruised sky, dying to forget and empty hands. Even they don’t get near the highs of negative spaces. Poppys voice doesn’t get enough spotlight either but when it does it’s great. The album overall feels like it lacks personality, effort and quality. But it’s still a fun and enjoyable album it’s just disappointing and a big step back from negative spaces
