Encapsulates the almost romanticised youth of the 90s in its indie angst. Maybe a must listen needs to be issued.
One of the best live albums of all time. Feels like a playground. Idiosyncratic and perfect.
If comfort was an album, for me it’s this. The strangely familiar sounds of the albums raucous and almost juvenile songs just do it for me in every way. On of the most underrated albums of all time.
Favourite tracks:
New town
The leanover
Envoys
Philip
Sorrow
One of the essential grunge records, more technical but also more fatiguing as the album goes on.
On par with nevermind, I’d even go as far as saying at times I prefer the sound of live through this.
