Commit Yourself Completely

I'm not the biggest CSH fan but I did enjoy the new version of Twin Fantasy from last year so I figured I should check this out as well. I've never seen them live so I didn't have any expectations but I'm still left a little disappointed. It's not bad but many of these live performances didn't wow me. I'll start with the negatives first I guess. "Destroyed by Hippie Powers" is the worst one here and I'm not saying I dislike the song, I like it a lot but the performance is not it. I know Will doesn't really have the best voice but man the vocals on this are just bad. It get's worse when the other members start to come in as well.

"Cosmic Hero" and "Drugs with Friends" are just two songs that I'm not a huge fan of unfortunately, and the live versions didn't convert me. BUT there are some really fun and great renditions here, specifically "Fill in the Blank", "Bodys", "DD/KW", and "Cute Thing". These versions make me want to go see CSH live and I probably will if they come by. Overall I thought this was okay, some really great live versions, and some not so great stuff.
