That odd time signature really hits hard. Suis sounds better than ever and that Yorushika polish is still there!
Miles better than what bling song or whatever its name was. Chorus was a huge highlight and wasn't the direction I was expecting it to go
Mostly well written edgy lyrics (I get the point) and strong vocal performances by Rina. Not to mentioned the compositions are fun but also have a dark undertone. However, the second half is rather lackluster and the mix doesn't help it as well. The low ends just kinda blend together for the most part (with the exception of Answer to Extreme) and the pianos are very prevalent for the sound they're going for. It does seem like the singles they've released since sound much better, ... read more

The more I return to this, the more I love it. It reignited my love for music, haven't felt this way since listening to blink-182 back in 2011
On the surface, it might just seem like music made for an anime series, but on top of complimenting the series (Bocchi the Rock), it's also very well composed, well mixed and well written rock tunes that are just fun to listen to as well as having all the signature bells and whistles of J-rock. While Heartless can be seen as a braggadocios song on the surface, it comes at a turning point of the album when he just says "fuck it" and reverts to his old habits of drugs and alcohol just to not feel Alone Again. This is the album that the Weeknd clicked for me
This song is fucking incredible. Yurika kills it on the vocal side, but as good as her singing is, it's the instrumental and composition that has me coming back over and over again and I pick out new fun little bits every time. Rhythmically complex, wonderfully composed and arranged (this is a pop song by the way). Underrated as hell.
Best Drake song I've heard in my life. I'd be down if Kendrick made Drake push his creativity like this more
Kelly Jones' voice is both Stereophoics' greatest asset and also their Achilles' Heel. His voice works for some songs, but is absolutely grating on the ears for others. The songs generally kinda blend together and the album as a whole is pretty generic Britpop, with some punk-ish elements to it. The guitar tones throughout were fine, the drums were fine. This album is just fine. Nothing special, nothing amazing, the definition of mid
