they do their usual fun catchy formulas and genre-blending with the help of paul meany (goated) production and they pulled it off. all these tracks individually already reminds me of trench because of how enjoyable they sound and that's cool enough to convince me it's going to be like "trench 2." also has some of the best tyler joseph performances yet (vignette, next semester, navigating, the craving, and more) so that's a plus.
