I'll start by saying that this is my first Ethel Cain experience, and I'm not impressed. The album broods over tortured love through lengthy, distorted audio art accompanied by muffled spoken word, and some haunting ballads that are sprinkled throughout the tracklist which are quite pretty thanks to Ms Cain's ethereal voice.
