This is something I would NEVER listen to on a regular basis. That being said, for my first introduction into brutal death metal, that was WILD and I actually had a fun time with how intense it was. It certainly won’t be for everyone, but I think any metalhead should give this a try. It’s batshit insane in a pretty good way!

I was told by a friend that this was his favorite album by PTV, but I actually prefer Collide with the Sky, which kinda surprises me. Maybe I set my expectations a bit too high, but it’s whatever. I will say this is more tonally consistent compared to CWTS, and I think that’s something to appreciate. Don’t stop listening to this album ‘til you get enough! King of pop for a damn good reason!
This could be a 100 but I still don’t like Kellin Quinn’s vocal delivery.
A friend of mine who’s basically an emo bastard recommended this to me, and you know what? It’s not bad and mostly entertaining. Some of it is emo cheese, but you can have fun with it. It does what it sets out to do, so I have no real problems in that regard. All I’ll say is that it has its audience, and if that audience includes you, then be my guest.
Crazy how we could’ve had Skrillex here for a really long time if he didn’t fuck up his voice.
