This album was effectively a trauma dump, set to the rhythm and tune of heavy distorted guitar, fantastic bass playing, and unique, yet good vocals. Jonathan Davis rights these lyrics from the point of view of his past trauma of sexual assault and neglect, and through this music he finds closure, releases his anger, and shows his true self. This album is basically the epitome of 2000's metal. The vibes from the album are so strong in that direction, and I love it. The guitar is very impressive, along with some pretty amazing vocals. The second half can be a bit repetitive and lyrically tiring, but overall pretty good album.
