While not a totally mindblowing EP, Swans shows a strong beginning of a band that would go on to do a lot of amazing music. While this EP is very different in sound from their other works, Swans has a strong selection of four tracks that will keep you mostly interested throughout. While not their best output, it is an important one in their discography. With dark lyrics and steady grooves, this EP is a good starting point for the band.
