Harry Styles - Harry's House
72

I get where this album is trying to go, but it's struggling to keep interest at times.
Overall I do enjoy a couple of songs here and consistently Come back.

Pure garbage

Ariana Grande - eternal sunshine
69

Something new from ariana ,not bad, but not mid blowing to say the least.

Sabrina Carpenter - Short n' Sweet
58

Sabrina carpenter is definitely making the cash.
This album though, isn't anything special to me.
It lacks substance, good songwriting, ambition and generally doesn't take this genre forward at all for me.

A chorus isn't enough to carry a whole song, and many times even that doesn't do it for me.

Espresso, Juno and taste are exceptions for me, but nothing crazy.

Tyler, The Creator - CHROMAKOPIA
91

Shades of igor, but a lot more than just that.
This album is up to par with everyone's expectations.
It's creative, fluid and diverse.
Tyler keeps giving us hits, with amazing features and fresh instrumentals.
Great songs that tell a story, his story.
Beautiful but also in your face rapping.

Fav tracks: st chroma, void, darling I and judge judy

Dirt is an album that delivers from song to song without missing too much.
Pure grunge vocals with odd song structures that keep you interested.

The Beatles - The Beatles
90

The beatles produce new sounds on this album, creating some of their best ideas and songs ever.
It is very long though.

Electric Light Orchestra - Discovery
75

Discovery is fun for some songs but not diverse enough and lacks consistency.

Jeff Buckley - Grace
100

This is, stunning.
Has to be one of the best albums I've heard in a while.
Jeff buckley has an amazing passionate voice and delivers some of the best vocals In history.

The songwriting is exceptional as well, beautiful chord progressions and great song structures that leave you suprised and satisfied.
From the lyrics, to the performances, you can tell this guy poured his heart into this, from the first second.

The execution on this album is something out of this world, making this, one ... read more

Dream Theater - Images and Words
90

Big on the prog, vocals not a fan of.

Lana Del Rey - Norman Fucking Rockwell!
87

A landmark in her discography.
I'm not the biggest lana del rey fan
But I still found myself enjoying good parts of this album.

Boston - Boston
100

When classic rock fucking rocks.

Travis Scott - Rodeo
90

Exceeded expectations, fire.
Travis at his best.

Alter Bridge - Blackbird
78

There are good moments for this album.
Though I can't seem to enjoy any of the drum work here which isn't too special, the mixing isn't that good on this album, and production overall isn't up there with the best.
Some of the riffs on here are good some a bit more dull.

Blackbird is definitely the highlight of this album and takes it up a notch.

Overall this was decent but far from spectacular in terms of some the songwriting and production.

Charli xcx - BRAT
94

Brat is full of passion and character.
It's fun, vibrant and Frantic club dance music.
It sounds like it wants you to have fun, let go, just enjoy life, not care and have a good night out.
Yet It doesn't forget to show Charlie's vulnerability.
Many of the lyrics are straight up in your face, whether they're sad or fun.

Overall this album is very good and full of layers, while offering interesting ideas that complement the singer very well.

MF DOOM - MM..FOOD
81

Mm.. it's not bad

Vampire Weekend - Only God Was Above Us
96

Shocked, didn't expect to love this so much.
This record is fantastic, sounds magical and vibrant, the vocals work so well with the instrumental.
Pretty much no skips here.
The songs are emotional powerful and relaxing, and full of dedication.
Produced well and stunning.
Hopefully I'll be able to look further into the songs in time.

Ice cream piano, classical and connect are my favorites so far, but pretty much no skips here

Billie Eilish - HIT ME HARD AND SOFT
88

Billie returns with high expectations.
Those expectations are usually met with interesting and new ideas that see her progress further as a musician.
Some of this feels like her best most ambitious work of her career, and some feels mid at best. The diner feels like a failed attempt at something (not sure what) and fails to offer anything.
The second part of L'Amour tries to be clever and special but comes out as very annoying.
Wildflower is nothing special as well.

Chihiro has to be one of ... read more

Kanye West - 808s & Heartbreak

Kanye goes autotune, and it works a bit.
