Overall its a good album!! It reminds me a little of Supertramp especially their album Crisis? What crisis? with their melodic style and the energy.
My fave songs are In the Blink of an Eye and Opposite Teacher.
I really didn't like it at all.
It gave me a headache by the end of the album.
There were small sections that were quite good but quite rare for me.
The album was really good. Not my normal kind of listening. Having not listened to much metal in a while the beginning songs reminded me of the band Creeper. I really liked the songs Melancholy Angel and Freedom. I love a change from song to song to keep me back listening to the album and it did it quite well.
It was a good and chill album.
I enjoyed it as it got into the album with the synth in the song Mr Moon was great to listen to as well as Scam the bass line is really inruiging.
Will it be on my On Repeat? No
But overall a GREAT summer feel to get me excited for summer
I enjoyed it.
I haven't watched the 2026 film "Wuthering Heights" while I'm making this post.
I do have pre knowledge of the gothic novel by Brontë having read parts and watched overviews I think I wanted the whole album to be quite gothic like of course the first song House featuring John Cale has a gothic feel as well as Wall of sound and Funny mouth but the rest have quite a pop ballad feel to them.
The songs arent bad like I really like My reminder and Seeing ... read more
I actually loved it.
I love a shift and a change. The use of a 3/4 in the last song and the credits is unheard of for artists to celebrate other artists who have helped her along the way for this album.
I adore a bit of orchestral, classical music it played into what i love an album to be
"The cold never lasts, my darling
It teaches the heart how to burn"
^ I love that line
Fave 3:
I know you're hurting
Fields
I will overcome
Pretty good album but it all pretty much sounds the same. If you want a good cry with some music when its cold and wintery its a good choice.
I really enjoyed this album. It was chill album that helped me watching the sun set even more enjoyable!
