I actually tried so hard. Like, separate the art from the artist stuff, yeah? I'll admit, I find Eilish to be an obnoxious, pretentious culture vulture. Alright, well, I surely can't say I didn't see something like this coming. Tyler is a total glass cannon of good content. I remember when Scum Fuck Flower Boy (the only name for that album as far as I'm concerned) came out and swept everyone including myself off their feet, there was so much to be said about Tyler. There are very few artists that genuinely understand what makes the classics so classic. We live in an age that's so fixated on revivalism, taking the sounds and aesthetics of 70's and 80's western culture and incorporating that into a modern format. In pretty much 99% of cases, the result is a derivative collage of stolen ideas and painfully obvious influences.
