CLOUDS (THE MIXTAPE)

It's the NF we expect, but with a little more aggressive approach especially on 'CLOUDS' and 'LOST' with some big instrumentals, which sound pretty cool. I think Nate's storytelling is great, especially on a song like 'STORY', probably the best track on here. Rather than talking about his own mental stability he talks mostly about how it is okay to be mentally unstable, 'JUST LIKE YOU' and 'LOST' for instance.

I think other than those 4 songs named above the mixtape is kinda basic/blend for NF's standards. I don't get the same emotion from him as he is able to bring in previous records. 'LAYERS' has some cool aspects, but I'm not a fan of the stuttering beat at some point, and after that I feel like a low distortion goes with the beat which is also distracting. 'TRUST' feels like its only redeeming quality is the speed at both rappers can rap, for the rest not that interesting.
