Though not quite achieving the clarity and charm of her sophomore effort, Ed Buys Houses still sparkles with Gish's trademark stream-of-consciousness quirkiness. A delightful DIY treat.
Sidney Gish achieves something approaching alchemy on this record, taking twee millennial tropes that can so often come across tired and uncomfortable and moulding them into an honest heartfelt album, with wit and self-awareness in spades. An incredible listen that I will never tire of.
An intense, expressive, and expansive work that once again proves underscores to be one of the greatest pop artists of all time
