Pretty solid. The band shows promise but this album really does feel like a lesser version of brit-pop/british post-punk that you would have heard in the late 90s/early 2000s. With that said this band and this album have some very good qualities that shine at certain points and I hope they continue to improve and hone in what works best for them.
Found this album at a thrift shop and decided to give it a few spins. Pretty enjoyable. I think the first half of the album is pretty damn strong actually. Second half is a bit lackluster but doesn't drag it down too much.
Maybe 2 songs worth listening to on this project. They don't play to their strengths
This album might very well be the proper birth of emo music and deserves praise for that. It's an important listen and should be considered classic/must-listen to both fans of punk and emo.
With that said I enjoyed this album on its own even when ignoring its merit as influential and experimental. It's a very very solid collection of emo punk songs.
Great album. I am seeing a lot of review bombing from people who rate 5 finger death punch albums highly. Crazy.
