NOISY LOVERS
It is now clear that everyone likes Noise.
The layered infiltrations of samples that insinuate themselves between the music of the instruments, the harmonic dissonance, everything that expands previous musical concepts is the lifeblood of contemporary music.
But what if the Noisy sound was not, as always, produced by electronics but was actually the vocal track? What would happen if someone proposed a disturbing sound superimposed on pleasant music as a vocal track, two musical ... read more
An enjoyable album, but it feels more like a tribute to '90s emo than an album with a great structure.
Well, maybe it's because my favorite emo subgenre is emo-pop, not Midwest emo, but this feels repetitive at times, especially in the final stretch, except for the last song; I like its progression.

I find that a lot of Midwest Emo falls into the trap of sounding a tad one track minded throughout a record but if the vocals are enjoyable enough, its not really an issue for me. Its sad, whiney music for the sack of being sad and whiney. You either dig it or ... read more
