Another pivotal moment in their catalogue that basically helped become what they are now. This album was recorded and released at the time Justin and his then 1st wife were on the outs. This album is very slow and has a lot of acoustic ballads and sad lyrics, a staple of theirs. At times, it does seem a little disingenuous but seeing them in concert so many times and hearing his stories around this time in their career and reading his book, it gives a totally different outlook on some of their work and I've grown to love this album more and more.
