It definitely has some good songs but for the most part, it all sounds a little overproduced. And while Blue October has always been vulnerable and emotional, this feels a bit more generic and corny.
EDIT: God, every time I listen to this album, I end up feeling completely different. IDK what is up with this one. Sometimes the melodrama makes me cringe, but sometimes I like it. 38 -> 60
This is where the writing got really fucky. Like, this shit is way too much. I would say this was a trainwreckord, but it did just fine commercially.
