I can't understand how some people forgive this album, it's so awful!
Imo, Goblin is just Bastard but without a clear direction in what Tyler is trying to convey, because in Bastard, besides being explicit and Controversial, trought to record we know his reason to be like that: being an social awkward, his lack of a father figure, and his fear of growing up, but at the end of the record, he gives himself a chance to improve. In Goblin, Tyler continues with this explicit and even more ... read more
Ty contributes the world with a load of mall background music
I really wanted to give a listen to the album thanks to Ty's performance on vultures 1, but none of this album sounds like vultures 1, in fact it has way more lazy production than vultures 1. None of the songs are bad yk, but none of them really shines either cause of that generic production.
what i mean is I don't even think Ty is bad on what he do, i think that by his own he don't have the hunger to cook something ... read more
The least interesting Tally Hall member makes solo music and in fact is Forgettable.
Rob cantor, Even if in Good & Evil i finded that he improved a lot on making actual interesting music, here he comes with a very mixed bag of more lows than highs. A lot of the songs are harmless; Background music. A Good part of the album is filled with blank songs, like, trought my whole constant listen and some Relistens there songs That even if they're trying to make you feel something, just ... read more
Will wood make what (sure will be) his last statement on his career, and for me it's just a little bit disappointing. What i first want to praise the change of sound on the album; where in difference with his last album, this is way much chill and personal with the idea of growing up, and it's something that a lot of the songs (at least on the first 5 songs) talk about: growing up, realize growing up is shit, then you die. The album is loaded with tears so it catch me crying more than ... read more
A real man never speaks illness of it's roots.
i find that one of the problems related to this dudes if clearly how it's fans praise them as musical and foward-thinking genius when they're far from it, but i also find stupid how lot of people judge hella bad their music now that they listen to the tuff, more well-accepted music just because the Album just wasn't that deep as they see it before.
Asides from that, it's an album with a lot of personality, and you can see ... read more
Ab-soul changes slightly his direction to bring a much funny project compared to his debut album. What i Most loved about the album was that production bruh, like you can see how green the album his just straight from the cover. Thanks to that a lot of the Tracks had grown on me.
Also like how some Tracks got second parts, is something that works for me (except on Dub Sac lol) and just keep that replay value on me. Maybe the only part that lows the album is that there's some tracks that ... read more
