the most wasted potential i have ever heard
imo this is a case of conceptually great album but mediocre execution, lots of the songs sound like they have the same beat blending together and not in a good way

i hope it grows on me but even when going in with no expectations this is the most meh tyler album yet

Kendrick somehow manged to make an album that is both great for casual listeners and radio while also having a great story for those looking for it

every time i go back to this album i am reminded of how just ok it is. even though the album has my favorite lana song of all time "cherry". aside from it, 13 beaches and lust for life. the album is just unfocused almost as if every song would have better as a single. however Im glad lana overcame that on "NFR"

this is the album where Lana is the most experimental Imo. She never really did a story-focused album like this before and while I do think it goes on for a little too long. it almost feels like a movie you're imaging especially with how good that cover is

this is the better version of "lust for life" IMO a more lyrically focused album than any of Lana's while still delivering a diverse sound

the better, more foucsed and more ambisous NFR, lana outfif herself on this album and while I do have some nitpicks on some lyrics this is as good as a lana album can get

fun project with a lot of ideas that sound good in theory but aren't executed the best. despite the mediocre project, I am happy for Yachty for finding his friend group and just vibing out with them not caring what people gonna think I think it's what lead to "Let's start here" and hopefully will lead to a better project from the collective in the future

2016: releases coloring book and is meet with love all around

2017: wins grammy for coloring book

2018: announces "good ass job" with ye

2019: releases this shit
