Beautiful. Some tracks approach a true sense of transport away from the here and now. These moments are sublime. Much of the remaining tracks suffer a bit in comparison
I’m not sure which has more of an edge. The latest from Wolf Alice or the music in Donkey Kong Bonanza.
I like what I’m hearing, the quality is there. It’s just that Wolf Alice seems to mostly be missing.
I’m not averse to new musical direction, but my oh my, this is off the compass completely.
Sensationally earnest and edge-of-the-seat compelling. I still feel surprised by what I’m hearing even on repeated listens.
But having said that, they’re goofy as shit.
