I will be honest: I liked this album a lot more than I thought I would. The 80s pop vibe with some French additions like the trumpet really blended well, and they created something trendy but inspired. Charli XCX is back at it again from the revolutionary BRAT album, and she experiments with a movie soundtrack. I have not seen the movie, I must say, and I have heard a lot of controversy towards it and how the screenplay was produced. Bruno Mars is back since almost 10 years ago, and we see a revelation of the songwriter he has become. I will admit the production is quite good throughout, but there's too much similarity between the sounds of each track, and it is extremely inspired.
