Listening to this album for the first time might seem kinda odd. But when u read about the background stories that stood behind the production of this album everything starts to clear up. The fact that stevie and lindsey put their broken hearts and broken feelings into songs is incredible. It all resulted in magnificent pieces which paved the music ways for future bands. Imo the best best soft rock album ever.

While i was listening to this album it seemed to be a whole totality. All the songs formed a coherent whole. The fusion of funky jazz and hip hop created something I hadn't heard since listening to The Low End Theory – A Tribe Called Quest. For me, this album is one of the best I've heard recently.
