I just discovered that there is, in fact, a pre Red Album Baroness, that's rawer, heavier and not sludgier, but sluttier.
And if you are in the search of a more raw Baroness record, here you have the 2 first EPs in one, and they work together well enough for a great record, it's great material, it's a young Baroness, It's not as polished, but the quality is there, the rawest thing here are the vocals, they hit different, it's a bit punk nastywise. What a great way to start.
